Our History
Founded in 1954 by six-time Grand Slam champion Don Budge and his best friend, 1931 Wimbledon champion Sidney Wood, the Club reflected their passion to preserve the sport of tennis in the most populous city in America.

Tennis & Facilities
The Town Tennis Club is a members-only tennis and social club nestled within the heart of Manhattan. We have two outdoor Har-Tru tennis courts outfitted with state-of-the-art lighting, and one all-weather ClayTech court. Our USPTA-certified tennis professionals are dedicated to providing our members with private lessons, group drills, and game arranging for all skill levels.
